Thursday – All freshmen will participate in an EOC Review Academy to prepare for the EOC. In class I will be presenting the Invertebrate BINGO assignment. Starting next Monday, students will complete three tasks of their choosing to learn about Invertebrates. 2/3 of the assignments have a technology aspect and students will have access to computer for 4 days in class; however, they will need to do some pre-work to prepare for completion of the task. Friday – Invertebrate Survey Lab
This week we are finishing up our body system wiki pages. The students are working togethere to research the body systems and create “web” pages to display their information. I am also having them make a web tool to embed on their wiki page. The wiki is due Friday at the beginning of class and will be a test grade for the last six weeks.
Wednesday we will be studying the path of blood flow and dissecting hearts.
I am including test study flashcards and the wiki includes games and info that they will be responsible for.

On Friday, students will prepare a Lab report and turn it in electronically.
The Plant Notes are still available and will be due for a grade on Friday, March 30.
We will be studying plants for the next 2 weeks. Students will be doing a wide variety of labs and activities in class covering the evolution of plants, plant parts and their function, plant response, and experiments with plants. Students will also be required to watch the plant notes on video for a grade that will be due on 3/30.
